Cretan Nectar Carob Syrup is made from Carob bush pods and is a very healthy, natural product, grown in parts of Greece, it has a delicious caramel flavour.

The Carob bush pods are boiled to produce a sweet but wholesome syrup which is used as a topping for greek yoghurt, cheese or for drizzling over deserts, ice cream or pancakes.

It is also great within sauces or as a replacement for honey, sugar or chocolate within baking / cooking. 

In Greece Carob syrup is also drunk within warm beverages.
